Dr. Mark Hendrik Standke is currently a patent attorney candidate at Dompatent von Kreisler, where he has been following a comprehensive programme to qualify as a European and German Patent Attorney since February 2023. His focus is on intellectual property protection in the fields of AI, telecommunications and microelectronics. Prior to this, he worked as a patent engineer from June 2019 to May 2023.

Dr Standke completed his PhD at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany, focusing on radiation-hardened silicon pixel detectors for CERN’s HL-LHC project, graduating in April 2023. He also holds a master’s degree from the same university, where he worked as a research assistant.
