Dr. Orjin Han holds an M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Life Sciences. She has been with dompatent since 2025 and supports the firm as a German and European patent attorney trainee in the handling of national and international intellectual property proceedings.
Her technical focus lies in molecular biology and biotechnology, particularly in cell biology, microbiology, immunology, and virology.
Dr. Han studied biotechnology (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) with a specialization in medical biotechnology at the Technical University of Berlin. She completed her Ph.D. in Life Sciences at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea. In addition, she conducted research at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin and at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center in the United States.
As part of her German and European patent attorney training, she advises clients in German, English, and Korean.
