Dr. Silas Wurnig

Dr. Silas Wurnig holds an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a doctorate in natural sciences (Dr. rer. nat.). He has been with dompatent since 2024 and supports the firm as a German and European patent attorney trainee in the handling of national and international intellectual property proceedings.

His technical focus lies in chemistry, particularly inorganic, organic, pharmaceutical, and analytical chemistry, as well as in chemical process engineering. In addition, he has solid expertise in molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, and the life sciences.

Dr. Wurnig studied Pharmaceutical Sciences with a focus on medicinal chemistry at the University of Freiburg and subsequently earned his doctorate at the University of Bonn.

As part of his German and European patent attorney training, he advises clients in German and English.
