Friederike Sturm is a mechanical engineer and patent attorney. She completed her academic education at the University of Duisburg-Essen, specializing in ship and offshore technology. As a result, she brings not only a broad engineering background but also specific expertise in maritime technologies.
She completed her training as a patent attorney at a law firm in Düsseldorf, complemented by an international placement in Westborough, Massachusetts.
